Dave Crossland CD Release Party
With his sweetly sleepy voice, his 1949 Gibson J-45, and a take on American life that's wryly insightful and humanistic, Dave Crossland has won fans across the country. He's appeared with notables such as Richie Havens, Dar Williams, Nanci Griffith, and scads more. But he's still found time to put out his own recordings, the last of which, "Fields of Promise," got him significant airplay coast to coast. Lizard Lounge hosts the CD release party for the singer/songwriter's latest effort, "Pearl," produced by Jim Infantino (Jim's Big Ego) and featuring Jimmy Ryan on mandolin, Steve Sadler on lap steel, Mark Hickox on bass, Mike Piehl on drums, and Antje Duvekot singing harmony vocals. Infantino and Anais Mitchell are guest artists for the live performance.
