Last night, I indulged in the miracle of human flight, traveling in a chair in the sky from LA to Atlanta to Akron, Ohio.

You see, my dad has decided the house is too big, has too many stairs, and it's time to make a change, so he just put a "For Sale By Owner" sign in the front yard of the house.   We moved in when I was 3, and though I haven't really lived here since I was 7, it's the only place I've known my whole life, my one geographical constant.  So here I am for a week to spend time with Dad, dig deep --and write an entire album of new songs.

This is something I've never done before, and I have no idea what's going to happen.

So please send a good vibe to this quiet little city in the Buckeye State.  The one-time rubber capital of the world, home of the original Goodyear blimp, the Soap Box Derby, the house of Doctor Bob (3 blocks away), Chrissie Hynde, Devo, Funky Winkerbean, Sojourner Truth's "Ain't I a Woman" speech, and my first elementary school --which they tore down last week.

And as always, thank you for all the love and support.

Big love,
